Our CJ replacement dash panel models #5150 through to #5162 are manufactured from 5052 marine grade aluminum alloy that is 1/8” (.125”) in thickness. The bottom edge on all of our dashes is formed and returns in the direction of the firewall. Simply choose the part number that best suits your application.
We have also provided the required holes for mounting these panels to your body. All of our dashes are made to work with either your stock steel body or with one of our aluminum replacement bodies.
When attaching one of our aluminum dashes onto your steel body keep in mind that you do not want the steel and aluminum to contact each other. You will want to isolate the two dissimilar metals with a barrier, such as paint, to help them from reacting to each other.
